Currently, there are 39 known Devil Fruits. There are no two identical Devil Fruits in the world. There are three different types of Devil Fruits: Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia. There are some unique fact of devil fruit : If the consumer of devil fruit's dead, the fruit will grow again. If one man eats 2 fruits at all, his/her body will torn apart suddenly.

Paramecia Fruits

Paramecia-type, fruits alter the user's body in some way. For example: Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi, which changes the user's body into stretchable rubber; also, Buggy the Clown's Bara Bara no Mi, which gives the user command over splitting apart his own body and controlling the pieces at will. Judging out from the paramecia fruits we have seen so far, it looks like paramecia fruits are shaped like melons.

Permanently turns the body into extremely durable natural rubber, allowing the user to stretch his or her body like rubber and to have a cushioning effect on all blunt forces impacting his or her body. Sharp edges can still pierce or slash through this cushioning effect with relative ease. Due to the user's body turning into rubber, the naturally high resistance makes the user immune to electrical attacks.

"Gomu" is Japanese for "rubber".
